Special Effects Ignition Solutions
AURAN supplies special effect igniters, low-sensitivity igniters, e-match products, balloon igniters, and firing systems for film, stage, simulation, live events, and other professional special-effects applications.
Different effects can require different activation behavior, electrical characteristics, connection methods, and firing control.

Industry Requirements
Different Effects Need Different Ignition Behavior
Film, stage, simulation, and live-event effects do not always use the same ignition characteristics.
For selected film and simulation applications, reduced visible spark and smoke may be important. Stage and live-event applications may instead prioritize conventional electrical ignition, synchronized firing, or application-specific activation methods.
Typical considerations include:
- Electrical activation characteristics
- Visible spark and smoke
- Lead-wire and connection configuration
- Installation format
- Firing-system compatibility
- Batch-to-batch consistency

Special Effect / Low Sensitivity Igniter
Electrically initiated igniters developed for professional special-effects applications where conventional pyrotechnic ignition characteristics may not be preferred.
Selected configurations provide reduced visible spark and smoke for film, simulation, and other controlled-effect applications.
Lead-free configurations are also available.

E-Match Igniters
Conventional electric match igniters for stage effects, live events, and other professional applications requiring standard electrical ignition.
Different lead-wire lengths, resistance configurations, and connection options are available.

Balloon Igniters
Electric igniters for balloon effects and other selected stage applications requiring localized electrical activation.

Firing Systems
Firing equipment for stage and live-event applications requiring controlled timing, sequencing, or synchronized activation.
APPLICATION-SPECIFIC SUPPORT
The required igniter depends on the effect itself, not only on the firing signal.
Film work may prioritize visual cleanliness and controlled activation, while stage and live-event setups may place more emphasis on wiring, synchronization, firing control, and repeatable field operation.
AURAN can review the activation method, electrical characteristics, lead-wire and connection requirements, firing equipment, and operating environment together when selecting a product configuration.

Performance for Special Effects Applications
Special-effects work requires repeatable electrical response and predictable activation behavior across the intended setup.
AURAN uses resistance inspection and batch ignition testing during igniter production. Application-specific options, including low-sensitivity and lead-free configurations, are available where required.

Discuss Your Special Effects Application
Tell us whether the application is for film, stage, simulation, live events, or another professional effect, together with the required ignition behavior, lead-wire and connection requirements, firing equipment, and expected volume.
We can review the project and identify the relevant igniter, electrical configuration, or firing solution.
